Draymond Green blasted the NBA’s treatment of players and the double standards regarding trades, specifically the Cavaliers’ situation with Andre Drummond.

Draymond Green tied his career-high in assists with 16 last night as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 129-98. With James Wiseman and Kevon Looney out with injuries, he has been starting at center lately for the Warriors. While he adjusts to a new perspective on the court, Green also gave some insight into what he’s been thinking about the off-the-court events surrounding the league and the Cavaliers specifically.

Cleveland has been sitting center Andre Drummond while they attempt to secure a trade for the two-time league All-Star. Drummond was in attendance for the Cavs’ battle with the Cavs and has seemed to handle the situation professionally to this point.

Still Draymond Green had a few choice words for the media in regards to how his situation and others have been handled by the NBA.

Draymond Green gives NSFW rant about NBA trades

With some huge trades already taking place this season, there are sure to be more as the March 25 deadline approaches. James Harden essentially forced his way out of Houston a few weeks ago and Bradley Beal is currently in Washington trying to tip-toe around his trade rumors without coming off as a diva.

These situations can be tricky but Draymond Green does not like how the NBA is treating its players. Watch him go on this NSFW rant about the Cavs/Drummond situation below.

There does seem to be a double standard to the media’s portrayal of player-requested trades versus team-initiated trades but Green does have to realize that players sign contracts too.

We’ll see if the NBA fines him for these comments and how players approach the media with March 25 just around the corner.
