Celtics fans aim NSFW chant at Kyrie Irving ahead of Nets playoff matchup (Video)

Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, NBA Playoffs

With the Celtics and Nets ready to meet in the playoffs later this week, Boston fans are already trying to get inside Kyrie Irving’s head.

Things are all locked in for the Brooklyn Nets and Boston Celtics to face off in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. The storylines are endless, and there’s sure to be plenty of drama. As you might have been able to guess, Celtics fans are ready to troll Kyrie Irving from start to finish.

That much was made clear on Tuesday night at the TD Garden. Fans were seen screaming at the top of their lungs, ‘(expletive) Kyrie.’ If this doesn’t motivate Irving to shut these folks up, we’re not sure what will.

Boston Celtics fans may regret trying to savage Kyrie Irving

With Boston’s win over Washington on Tuesday, the team secured the No. 7 seed for the postseason, meaning an upcoming series with Brooklyn indeed is on the way. You already know Irving will be ready to put on a show, but this video is sure to give him a little more juice.

During the regular season, the superstar guard put up impressive numbers, averaging 26.9 points, 6.0 assists and 4.8 rebounds per contest. Come Saturday, the two sides will meet in a highly-anticipated Game 1 of their series.

Obviously, both teams will want to get off on a strong foot. For Irving, though, don’t be surprised if he ends up drilling jumper after jumper against Boston. He might make it his goal to silence all his haters, especially those who participated in the immature chants against him on Tuesday night.
