NBA Twitter were not pleased with the performance of the referees during the first half of Game 2 between the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks.
The NBA Finals is officially two games in, and to the shock of no one, the referees are in the spotlight. In Game 1 this past Tuesday, the officials were criticized for being a bit too active during the contest. Would the trend continue in Game 2?
Throughout the first half between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Phoenix Suns, there have been a grand total of 11 fouls called. So, the referees were a bit more lenient on Thursday night as opposed to Tuesday. Of course, that caused plenty of members of NBA Twitter to share their thoughts on the referees’ performance.

Following Game 1, Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer expressed his concern with the free throw disparity between both teams. Milwaukee had 16 trips to the free throw line and converted on nine of them, while Phoenix stood at the charity stripe 26 times and successfully made 25 of those attempts.
Based off what viewers have seen in the first half of Game 2, the on-court officials are letting things go for the most part and are giving the whistles a bit of a break. Well, that is compared to the opening game of the NBA Finals. But, let’s see if things change in the second half.
