Reunited and it feels so good! LeBron James and Chris Bosh cross paths on the purple carpet for the Space Jam: A New Legacy Premiere.
The King has been living regally this offseason.
Be it watching his son put on a show (and committing to his dad duties as the protector), hanging out with Bad Bunny on IG, or gracing the “purple carpet” for his latest adventure on the silver screen: Space Jam 2.
As most movies do, there was an early release for all of the stars to revel in all of the pre-release glory. This purple carpet was truly a star-studded event, with celebrities like Zendaya, John Legend, and others on hand.
But there will be plenty of time spent dissecting the film, its cinematic merits, and how it holds up against the Michael Jordan-led original. Instead, we’re here for a wholesome moment between former teammates and forever brothers Chris Bosh and LeBron James.
This is the type of hug that brings tears to your eyes, truly. But with a stellar performance like Bosh’s in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals in 2012, the hug seems understandable.
Bosh and LeBron’s friendship is a winding story fit for the silver screen LeBron is gracing. The duo won championships together, hadn’t been on speaking terms after James returned to Cleveland, and rekindled their brotherhood after Bosh’s retirement.
Space Jam: A New Legacy is finally at the home stretch. Whether you decide to tune in to the movie theater (remember those? strange times), or in the comfort of your own home on HBO Max, the movie hits the screen on July 16.
