Watch: Giannis shares fistful of cake in hilarious birthday video

To celebrate his 27th birthday, Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo shared a fistful of cake with Bucks staff as the team celebrated his big day.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is the NBA’s undisputed big kid, bringing childlike wonder to every human experience.

From appreciating the art of Oreo dunks to singing along to Harry Styles, the reigning NBA Champion has had quite the year in 2021 — and he wrapped it up with a birthday celebration that every NBA fan can cheer on.

On Dec. 6, the 16-9 Bucks celebrated a win over the Cleveland Cavaliers at home. Dec. 6 also happened to be Giannis’ 27th birthday, so the team honored him with a birthday cake celebration.

The birthday cake was accompanied by a blue sneaker confectionary creation, along with a green buck for Milwaukee. Giannis grinned at the display for several seconds, then he had an idea: better to “share” this cake with others than enjoy it by himself.

Antetokounmpo then grabbed a fistful of cake and chased around Bucks president Peter Feigin, unrelenting until he shoved the cake in his face. Giannis then ran away laughing as Feigin laughed and said, “This guy…”

The festivities continued at Fiserv Arena as the Bucks team gathered around their most valuable player. Back in the locker room, Giannis was treated to a “Happy Birthday” rendition done by his fellow teammates.

In addition to sharing cake, Giannis also shared his game jersey with an extremely enthusiastic young Bucks fan.

All in all, it was a birthday Giannis will never forget, even by this stat alone: the Bucks star scored 27 points in 27 minutes on his 27th.

With the win, the Bucks are now pulling ahead of the Miami Heat in the No. 3 spot, an ideal place for the reigning birthday champion to kick off his 27th year.
