Warriors forward Juan Toscano-Anderson put JaVale McGee on a poster with a monster dunk in early December and got the Suns big man to sign it on Christmas.
Back in the early part of December when the Western Conference pace-setting Warriors and Suns faced off in a high-profile matchup, Golden State forward Juan Toscano-Anderson provided a massive highlight with a posterizing dunk over Phoenix big man JaVale McGee.
After the game, Toscano-Anderson said that it was the best dunk of his young career (he joined the Warriors just last season) and was getting an actual poster of the moment made.
Always one to take things in stride, McGee told him congratulations and that he’d sign it for him. JTA essentially said he’d hold the center to that and would bring it to the teams’ Christmas Day matchup.
Warriors’ Juan Toscano-Anderson gets JaVale to autograph literal poster
A true man of his word, McGee indeed gave the 28-year-old Golden State wing his autograph on the poster, which is truly incredible stuff from the Suns’ enigmatic big.
That’s probably a keepsake that JTA will keep for just about forever.
Not only is it not every day that you see a player get an actual poster of a terrific posterization, but then to have the recipient of that dunk actually follow through with his word and autograph it makes it a next-level affair.
And considering that Toscano-Anderson got the signature after the Warriors picked up the Yuletide win, that probably makes it even better for him.
