Memphis Grizzlies, NBA Playoffs

Ja Morant’s father, Tee, sat courtside with singer Usher during Game 5 between the Memphis Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves.

The first round series between the Memphis Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves is the battle of bragging rights between the fathers of Ja Morant and Karl-Anthony Towns. Throughout the series, NBA Twitter could not get over how Tee Morant looks exactly like singer Usher.

During Game 5 on Tuesday, April 26, Tee was sitting court side and he was next to none other than Usher!

It is the literal Spider-Man pointing meme.

For those wondering why Usher was sitting courtside, he is not just a Grizzlies fan. The singer is one of the team’s owners with a minority stake.

Both teams had two wins each entering Game 5. The Grizzlies are vying for their first NBA Finals appearance in franchise history, while the Timberwolves are looking for their first series win since 2004.

Regardless of if Memphis or the Timberwolves win Game 5, it will forever be remembered when Morant and Usher both broke the internet.
