The Milwaukee Bucks and Atlanta Hawks play for the fourth time this season on Wednesday night, and the Hawks won’t have Trae Young due to an illness.

That opens a little value in the prop market, and there are three plays that I love for this matchup in Atlanta:

Bucks vs. Hawks best NBA prop bets

  • Dejounte Murray OVER 23.5 Points
  • Onyeka Okongwu UNDER 11.5 Points
  • Grayson Allen OVER 1.5 3-Pointers Made

Dejounte Murray OVER 23.5 Points

Dejounte Murray has been dominant in three games without Trae Young this season, averaging 27.7 points per game.

He’s going to have a tough matchup against Jrue Holiday, but Murray’s usage takes a huge leap when Young is out of the lineup.

This season, Murray takes 17.6 shots per game with Young playing and 24.0 when he’s out. That’s a huge jump in usage, and I think that carries him over 23.5 points, especially since he’s averaging 20.4 points per game this season.

Onyeka Okongwu UNDER 11.5 Points

Hawks center Onyeka Okongwu is averaging 9.1 points per game this season, but he’s seen his points prop rise to 11.5 in this game with Clint Capela out.

Okongwu has gone OVER this line in just 12 of his 39 games this season, and he’s gone under it twice in three games against the Bucks this season.

Brook Lopez and Giannis Antetokounmpo will make things tough for the youngster to get any easy baskets down low, and with no Young, there may not be as many room service dimes coming his way.

Grayson Allen OVER 1.5 3-Pointers Made

Grayson Allen has been shooting the ball well from beyond the arc lately, averaging 2.3 made shots from beyond the arc over his last seven games.

Allen has cleared this prop in six of those matchups, while taking over six shots from deep per game.

As long as he sees similar volume against Atlanta, he should be able to go OVER this number.
